The internet is a great way for us to share our interests. Mine are far reaching, but, I have always had a special love affair with vintage textiles. You will see this theme through out this site. 

I was a dressmaker for 40 years, always collecting vintage patterns, buttons, trims, laces, clothing, and fabrics. This collecting soon became a business, having the need to make room for MORE, MORE, MORE ! I retired from my dressmaking business and closed my shop in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey in 1993. My husband, Jay, and I have since retired to Litchfield, Maine, but I still can't seem to get myself to stop sewing. This website has been a great place for me to share what I am up to NOW....

You will   find my hats "in person" in Kennebec River Artisans, in Hallowell, Maine....on Water Street , or they may be purchased online or by phone.

Since retiring to Maine, how can you not join in with the multitude of talented artisans that we have the privilege of meeting. Their enthusiasm is certainly catching. 

I have always enjoying making special hats for myself, friends, family, and clients. Now I can concentrate on doing just that. I am having a great time making ONE OF A KIND hats .   Now,
