Most of my winter hats are  made of a coat weight, or close to felted, new wools. The summer styles seem to lend themselves to the use of cotton, colorful, fun, vintage prints. Occasionally I come across an irresistible repro fabric, but there is nothing like the prints of the oldies, but goodies.
